Tony Nitti, CPA, MST

Partner, National Tax at RubinBrown

NSA’s 75th Annual Convention Keynote Address will be provided by Tony Nitti, CPA, MST, partner-in-charge of National Tax at RubinBrown and adjunct professor at the graduate tax programs of the University of Denver (DU) and Golden Gate University.

Nitti, a nationally renowned tax expert, is best known throughout the accounting profession as the author of numerous feature articles for The Tax Adviser, Taxes Magazine, the Journal of Accountancy and Accounting Today. He co-authored the CCH expert tax treatise: Corporations Filing Consolidated Returns, and since 2012 has been a featured tax writer for Forbes. His Forbes column has a national following in the hundreds of thousands. Nitti’s specialties include corporate and partnership taxation, with an emphasis on complex mergers and acquisitions structuring.


Greg White, CPA

Greg White, CPA, has taught for 14 years as an adjunct professor for Golden Gate University School of Taxation in Seattle and lectures frequently for organizations providing professional education to other tax CPAs. He has been named a Top 50 IRS Representation Practitioners in the U.S. by CPA Magazine and has taught for a number of professional organizations.

Greg has been providing services in accounting and tax matters for over 30 years. He specializes in tax planning, compliance, US Tax Court litigation, and representation of taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. He has provided expert witness testimony in many cases, and has served both as a Court Appointed Receiver and Court Appointed Special Master. Greg is an Adjunct Professor with the Golden Gate University. 

Greg enjoys the technical side of tax, but also likes to have fun in class.


Klaralee R. Charlton, J.D.

Klaralee Charlton practices fiduciary tax, estate administration, and business transactional law. As part of her practice, Ms. Charlton guides clients through the process of administering a loved one’s estate including the collection, valuation, management, and transfer of assets including financial accounts, real estate, and business interests with a focus on minimizing estate and income tax liability. 

Klaralee has written and lectured on topics including estate and gift tax, fiduciary income tax reporting and U.S. regulations governing the valuation of small family businesses. She is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association, Tax Section and the Greater Denver Tax Counsel Association. She earned her J.D. in 2011 from the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law, her LL.M. in Tax Law from the University of Denver in 2013, and her B.A. in political science in 2009 from Bryn Mawr College.


Pat Patterson, CPA, MBA

Cecil Patterson, (Pat), CPA, MBA, is an award-winning, nationally recognized author, speaker, and discussion leader for continuing education courses and numerous state societies. He has experience at the local and national CPA-firm level and as an adjunct university professor.

Pat holds an MBA from the University of North Florida and is a CPA with Patterson CPA Group, Inc. His firm provides, accounting, tax preparation and tax planning services, wealth management services, and consulting for businesses and other professional firms. The AICPA has recognized the firm for work in the “virtual office” field.

Pat has served on the AICPA Council, the FICPA Council, and the FICPA Educational Foundation Board of Trustees.


Robert K. Minniti DBA, CPA, CFE, Cr.FA, CVA, MAFF, CFF, CGMA, PI

Dr. Minniti is the President and Owner of Minniti CPA, LLC. Dr. Minniti is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Forensic Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Valuation Analyst, Certified in Financial Forensics, Master Analyst in Financial Forensics, Chartered Global Management Accountant, and is a licensed private investigator in the state of Arizona.

Dr. Minniti is a writer and public speaker. He has experience in forensic accounting, fraud examinations, financial audits, internal audits, compliance audits, real estate valuations, business valuations, internal control development, business continuation planning, risk management, cyber security, privacy laws, data security, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance work and business consulting.


Tiffany D. Bell

Ms. Bell is a Partner at Andreozzi Bluestein LLP. She concentrates her practice in IRS Voluntary Disclosure Programs, Foreign Bank Account Reporting (FBAR), individual and corporate tax litigation and controversy matters.

Ms. Bell received her B.S. at the State University of New York College at Buffalo. She went on to receive her M.S. at The Ohio State University and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School.

During law school, Ms. Bell served as an extern with IRS Office of Chief Counsel and as an intern with Buffalo Legal Aid Public Defender’s Office.


Derek Wheeler

Mr. Wheeler is an associate attorney at Andreozzi Bluestein. He focuses his practice on federal and NYS collection cases, income and sales tax audits, and federal tax litigation. He received his bachelor of arts degree from Wells College and his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law. He is admitted to practice in New York State, U.S. Tax Court, the Western District of New York, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York.
