The Synopsis of State Laws Regulating the Public Practice of Acountancy was compiled by the State Regulation and Oversight Committee. The current version includes synopses for each of the 50 states as well as the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands. The State Accountancy Laws Synopsis may be viewed and/or printed as a single document or you may select individual components listed below. The Synopsis Spreadsheet presents a summary of  the information for quick reference.
