State Directors

State Directors function as official representatives of NSA at the state level—for members, prospective members, and the public.  They also serve as NSA’s liaison with the respective Affiliated State Organizations (ASOs).  Under the guidance of the District Governors, State Directors represent 49 states, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.  Candidates for the position of State Director are nominated at the annual convention and are elected by voting delegates from all states.  All State Directors are required to be members in good standing of the National Society of Accountants.
